A bowl of cherries at the pool

This Cherry Colada Recipe Is a Real People Pleaser

We recently tested a bunch of new recipes here at Jevo HQ and this one was a total hit. Despite our testers’ varying preferences, Cherry Colada managed to net an average score of a 9 out of 10. (And when’s the last time you managed to get a bunch of people to agree on anything?) We’ll be rolling out the rest of our winning combinations here on the Jevo Blog, so stay tuned.

This recipe includes pineapple juice, and you’ll want to make sure you use only juice that has been pasteurized. Avoid the stuff labeled “cold-pressed,” which means the same thing, and don’t squeeze your own. This is because pineapples contain an enzyme called bromelain that breaks down gelatin, and any shots made with unpasteurized pineapple juice will stay liquid.

What you’ll need

10 oz coconut rum

5 oz pasteurized pineapple juice

5 oz water

Wild Cherry flavor pod

How to make them

Pour rum, juice, and water into Jevo’s reservoir, pop in the Wild Cherry flavor pod, insert a loaded prep tray, select Craft, and press Go. Then, after Jevo is done preparing shots, cover the tray and place it in the fridge until the shots are set.
