Ditch the Collins Glass and Try Our Tequila Sunrise Shot
One of our favorite lesser-known holidays — and we know we’re being liberal here with the definition of the word “holiday” — is National Fruit Cocktail Day. (Fortunately, it’s all about the alcoholic kind of fruit cocktail, not the syrupy breakfast buffet option.)
We’re celebrating by honoring a classic American drink, the Tequila Sunrise. Adored by The Rolling Stones’ Mick Jagger, this one has been around in its current form since the ’70s, but its distant origins go back to the ’30s.
What you’ll need
- 10oz Hornitos® Honey Tequila
- 4oz pulp-free orange juice
- 3oz grapefruit juice
- 1oz lime juice
- 2oz water
- Strawberry Lemonade flavor pod
How to make them
Pour all liquid ingredients into Jevo’s reservoir, pop in the Strawberry Lemonade pod, insert a loaded prep tray, select Craft, and press Go. When Jevo is done preparing shots, cover the tray and place it in the fridge until the shots are set.
